Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated teller/member service professional for a full-time role in our financial services team. You will disburse approved loans, handle deposits and withdrawals, and provide exceptional customer service to members at our location.

Ideal candidates have teller experience, strong data entry and math skills, and knowledge of banking policies. This position offers day shifts, benefits, and opportunities for career development within a faith-based health

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Preferred).
• Ability to balance figures and verify calculations.
• Experience in teller/member service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disburses approved loans and signs loan documents.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve member inquiries.
• Accept loan applications and supporting documents.
• Interviews loan applicants to gather required information.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Open/close member accounts and update information.

Job Description

• Disburses approved loans and acts as a signing witness on loan documents.
• Provides outstanding customer service and resolves member inquiries and issues.
• Accepts consumer loan applications and supporting documents.
• Interviews loan applicants to gather necessary information for loan processing.
• Assists with ATM balancing and replenishment.
• Secures, maintains, and balances cash drawers and ensures accurate cash handling.
• Handles transactions received over-the-counter, by mail, email, and telephone.
• Maintains an adequate supply of credit union forms and documents.
• Performs routine clerical tasks such as filing and document preparation.
• Processes member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, money orders, and checks.
• Opens and closes member accounts and updates account information as needed.
• Cross-sells credit union products and services to meet sales and service goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Assessment/evaluation and verification.
• Ability to balance figures, compute totals, and verify calculations.

• Good communication skills with member service orientation.
• [Required] Strong working knowledge of applicable account, deposit, and consumer loan policies, principals, regulations, etc.

• [Required] Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance and other regulations and laws related to the position.
• [Required] Must pass Credit Union bond check

Work Experience

• 1+ teller experience within a bank/financial institution. (Required)
• 2+ banking/ financial institution member service experience (Required)
