Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Bank Protection Officer to maintain visible security at exterior locations of retail banking centers. The role involves deterrence of crime, handling potential conflicts, and courteous interaction with bank customers and associates.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring entrances, preparing incident reports, and coordinating emergency notifications. Must have a high school diploma, valid driver's license if driving, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing/certification requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Must have at least 1 year of security, safety, or protective experience (e.g., law enforcement, military, TSA).
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Able to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions and report them.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect company property and personnel.
• Investigate incidents and maintain reports/logs.
• Assist customers, employees and visitors politely.
• Provide emergency notifications as required by post orders.
• Suggest productivity and cost-reduction improvements.
