Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an armed Bank Protection Officer to stand outside a retail banking center in Bradenton, FL. The part-time, day-shift role focuses on deterrence of criminal activity and customer safety while maintaining a visible exterior presence.

Candidates must have a D & G License, GED or high school education, at least 1 year of security experience, and be able to interact professionally with customers and staff. The role offers hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client requirements.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00

Allied Universal is seeking an armed officer to stand outside a bank to deter criminal activity 3 days/wk.

This is a great PT, dayshift role!

Candidates must have a D & G License, must have a minimum of 1 year security experience, must be able to furnish proof of GED or high schhol education

Allied Universal® is hiring a Bank Protection Officer (BPO). The Bank Protection Officer will maintain visible position in exterior locations of retail banking centers, providing deterrence of criminal activity and misconduct. The Bank Protection Officer may be expected to handle potential conflict and must be able to interact with bank customers and associates in a courteous manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of previous security, safety, and/or protective experience such as law enforcement, military service with a favorable discharge, or Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
• Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• College degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• Current or prior active military service
