Job summary

United Bank in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Sales Associate to join our branch team. You will perform daily customer service duties, process transactions accurately, promote banking products, and help meet branch goals.

Strong communication, cash handling, and attention to security are essential. Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a plus. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow in a community-focused bank.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of the Bank's in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
Excellent communication skills; Spanish or additional language a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transactions.
Balance assigned cash daily and maintain security procedures and cash drawer control.
Identify customers and obtain proper documentation for endorsements and transactions; obtain supervisor approval when required.
Comply with all department and company policies and security.
Contribute to meeting monthly branch goals by monitoring performance and taking action.
Deliver excellent customer service and promote bank products and services to clients.
