Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• At least two years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts with focus on journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and drive projects to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile complex bank accounts daily and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Examine ledger details, analyze transactions and adjust entries when necessary.
• Prepare quarterly aging schedule of outstanding reconciling items.
• Identify and propose changes to accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead projects to streamline monthly close, including software integration.
• Maintain daily communications with property managers and property accountants.
