Job summary

MidFirst Business Credit, Inc. is seeking an Exception Processing Specialist to support the Bank Operations team in Oklahoma City.

You will handle critical daily tasks including processing non-posting transactions, building return files, and managing posting decisions for overdrawn accounts. The role emphasizes processing subpoenas, state levies, garnishments, and other legal requests, with hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of banking experience or a related legal field.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally by phone and email with internal customers, business partners, legal counsel, and external law firms.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions that fail to post or require correction.
• Build check image return files and assist with posting decisions for overdrawn accounts.
• Process disputed ACH activity and handle government reclamations and state levies.
• Perform account research for customers and formal legal requests.
