Job summary

Affim Bank is building out its FP&A leadership as a remote-first organization. Reporting to the Bank CFO, the Bank Head of FP&A will establish the finance function, lead forecasting and budgeting, and develop robust financial models to support growth and decision-making.

Expect a highly collaborative role partnering with cross-functional teams across the business. USA base pay ranges are substantial, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in analytical roles with impact on business outcomes.
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
• Proven ownership and influence in fast-paced environments.
• Strong business judgment linking analysis to exec decisions.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
• Financial modeling proficiency; experience with modeling tools and data viz preferred.
• Familiarity with fintech, lending and payments models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank strategic finance team, providing direction and coaching as we establish the function.
• Oversee end-to-end forecasting and budget processes aligned with goals.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for planning and scenarios.
• Oversee capital stress testing and ongoing monitoring with cross-functional inputs.
• Monitor performance against forecasts, diagnose variances, provide actionable insights.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives to inform strategy and decisions.
