Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Bank Compliance Technology Analyst to support the technical operation and ongoing development of its Bank Compliance and BSA/AML programs. This role translates regulatory requirements into effective systems, rules, workflows, and automated controls.

You will partner with Bank Compliance, Financial Crimes Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, and other teams to ensure the compliance tech remains reliable, scalable, and audit-ready.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience supporting compliance technology, BSA/AML, or related function.
• Ability to translate policy or regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with data evaluation and trend identification.

Responsibilities

• Support design and operation of BSA/AML and compliance programs.
• Build and maintain transaction-monitoring rules and risk-rating capabilities.
• Configure case-management systems and investigation tools.
• Translate requirements into system logic and technical specs.
• Conduct testing of rules, workflows, and changes before/after implementation.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership and audits.
• Maintain documentation of system logic, rule changes, and issues.
