Landmark National Bank is seeking an Assistant Bank Manager in Overland Park, KS. You will lead a retail banking team, coach staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and uphold compliance standards while supporting community-focused banking solutions.

You will drive daily operations, staff development, and community engagement, balancing customer needs with bank policies and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling information.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Sound business judgement and decision making.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Advanced communication and customer service skills.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic PC programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and train/develop your team.
• Support customers to connect to Landmark products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, team, and community partners.
• Coordinate daily operations, scheduling, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with controls and risk policies, including audits.
• Evaluate practices and implement approved improvements.
• Maintain cash drawer levels and vault balancing.
• Lead and develop associates through performance plans.
• Pursue personal development via Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
• Assist in hiring processes.
• Engage in Landmark culture initiatives and events.
• Represent the bank in the community.
