Job summary

Thyssenkrupp is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage, sorting, and shipping of raw materials and finished products. You will assist in packaging, paperwork, and equipment operation on the warehouse floor.

Role requires using forklifts or cranes, basic computer tasks, and a safety-minded approach. The position emphasizes adherence to lean and quality practices and working around heavy machinery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock, and inspect cartons, pallets, or parts to support operations.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move stock.
• Support machine operators and general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.
• Train others when required and participate in safety initiatives.

Job Summary

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
