Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking a BandAssistant to help the Band Director keep the band room neat, inventory instruments and uniforms, and maintain organized music records. The role also involves contacting band members and updating performance schedules.

The position runs for a full semester with hours from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $10.00 per hour for 10–15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Inventory instruments.
• Keep a full and ongoing record of all instruments and a thorough record of where each instrument is at all times.
• Inventory uniforms.
• Assist Band director in making copies of music, keeping music organized and filed properly.
• Assist Band director in contacting band members to relay information.
• Keep an updated schedule of where the Band will be expected to play and when.
