Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Science with HCPC registration.
• Specialist microbiology experience in NHS laboratories.
• Ability to independently process and analyse microbiology samples.
• Experience validating and reporting detailed laboratory results.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Previous Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist experience.
• Experience in Clinical Pathology services.
• Experience supporting service development and audits.
