Job summary

Gensler in Baltimore seeks an experienced Architect to join our team, translating sketches into 2D/3D models and guiding projects from design through construction administration. You will collaborate with peers to deliver functionally beautiful spaces while mentoring teammates.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit proficiency, leadership, and a passion for sustainable design in a fast-paced office environment. This role is based in our Baltimore office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience with ground up buildings; interior architecture a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit is a must; SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on base building, interior architecture and interior design projects across program stages.
• Design spaces for sectors including Government, Sciences, Offices, and Technology.
• Coordinate plans and materials to reflect design intent in construction documents.
• Work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives.
• Manage client, team and project coordination across disciplines (structural, MEP, lighting, etc.).
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to design challenges.
• Support construction administration and site visits; ensure quality control.
• Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
