A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory control, distribution, and team management. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing all resources supporting receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution and order fulfillment processes while supervising the team and finished goods.
What You Will Do
• Manage Inventory accuracy, location accuracy, and audits
• Manage daily operational activities (receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping) of supporting distribution centers, PCCA partner sites and end customers
• Coordinate the shipping of finish goods to customers and sites within targeted times
• Manage activities and performance of staff, i.e., coaching, delegating, monitoring progress, providing direction and technical support, disciplinaries, performance appraisals
• Develop and deploy creative or original solutions to complex problems
• Optimize material flow throughout the site, ensuring availability of needed resources, to include operating personnel and material handling equipment
• Work to eliminate traffic bottlenecks
• Implement cost effective projects within acceptable parameters for schedule, budget, cost reduction and return on investment while providing quality service to customers without distraction
• Ensure that department objectives are in line with corporate objectives
• Perform all other duties, as required
Who You Are
• Three years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or wholesale industry in a capacity relating to dispensing, distributing or keeping record of prescription drugs
• Prior experience in a warehousing environment
• Prior experience managing and/or leading a team
• Understanding of MRP/ERP business system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Working knowledge of material handling equipment
• Demonstrated experience working and communicating with all levels within an organization and suppliers
• Intermediate to advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
