Job summary

GBMC Health Partners in Towson, MD, is seeking an experienced physician to join and grow our established Primary Care Practice in Baltimore City. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the area, trusted by the community, and dedicated to improving patient health.

Under general supervision, this role manages clinical care, conducts histories and physicals, orders and documents in the EMR, and collaborates with staff and specialists to coordinate care and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in Maryland with board certification.
• Graduate of an accredited medical program.
• Commitment to ongoing licensure requirements and CME.

Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and treatment of patients in assigned areas.
• Perform history and physical exams and document in EMR.
• Write orders per hospital policy and patient needs.
• Coordinate referrals to ancillary departments and community resources.
• Document progress notes and treatment plans for each visit.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate home care when needed.
• Pursue ongoing educational needs and participate in mandatory training.
