GBMC HealthPartners at Jonestown in Baltimore City seeks an experienced physician to join our established Primary Care Practice. Under general supervision you will manage patients and coordinate care with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical program.
• Maryland physician licensure and active medical license.
• Board certification in the physician’s specialty.
• Completion of required CME credits for licensure.
• CPR certification as requiredby position.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for initial evaluation and treatment of patients in assigned areas.
• Performs history and physical examination; documents in EMR.
• Writes orders in accordance with hospital policy and patient needs.
• Discusses findings with care team and coordinates with staff and specialists as needed.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment plans accordingly.
• Initiates referrals to appropriate departments and community resources.
• Documents progress notes and treatment plans for each visit.
• Utilizes resources to meet educational needs of patients and families.
• Pursues ongoing educational development and mandatory in-service training.
