Job summary

Washington Nationals is seeking a Coordinator, Loading Dock to operate at Nationals Park, overseeing shipments, deliveries, and the receiving area. This role tracks items, prepares documentation, and helps implement upper-management directives while providing logistical support to Ballpark Operations.

Essential duties include shipping/receiving, barcode labeling, inventory counting and control, dock maintenance, and coordinating pickups.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving: create packing slips, assign barcodes, document incoming merchandise and mail, prepare reports, log packages for Clubhouse personnel per MLB policy
• Inventory Control: count items, reconcile discrepancies, manage propane inventory, oversee distribution and storage for events, record freight
• Loading Dock Maintenance: inspect trucks, ensure equipment functions daily, manage cleanliness, oversee empty pallet removal, coordinate pickups, handle recyclable cardboard and dumpsters
• Compensation: wage rate $18.40–$25.00 per hour; starting salaries may be below the range; actual pay based on qualifications and policies
