Job summary

The Ballot Courier Coordinator at Maricopa County oversees the preparation, deployment, scheduling, pick-ups, and audits of all ballot drop box operations. This role manages training and supervision of temporary ballot and mail couriers with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail.

Qualified applicants will have at least two years in warehouse or delivery operations and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse or delivery operation.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction, training, and work review of 30+ temporary mail and ballot courier workers.
• Assigns routes and schedules for daily pick-ups.
• Inspects completion of work and maintains all Chain of Custody documentation.
• Establishes and monitors ballot custody transfer processes
• Audits all temporary workers' timecards
• Ensures that all courier teams are bipartisan
• Assists other Early Voting division teams, including the Warehouse, Sig Ver, and other areas as needed
