A boutique ballet school in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking passionate instructors to teach ballet classes to children aged 6 months to 8 years. Qualifications

• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership.

Current open shifts for immediate hire: Weekends and weekday afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute ballet classes following Tutu School’s carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students’ families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in dance with a ballet background is strongly preferred
• High school or equivalent is preferred
• Experience working with/teaching young children (1-8 yrs. old) in groups of 5-10 children
