A boutique ballet school in Cary is seeking passionate dancers to join their team as instructors. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in dance, particularly ballet. Job Summary

Most of all, we want instructors who are invested in nurturing the big dreams of little dancers.

Current open shifts for immediate hire: Weekends and weekday afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute ballet classes following Tutu School’s carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students’ families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in dance with a ballet background is strongly preferred
• High school or equivalent is preferred
• Experience working with/teaching young children (1-8 yrs. old) in groups of 5-10 children
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
