American Wood Fibers (AWF) is seeking a 1st Shift Packaging Machine Operator (Baler Operator) in Lebanon, KY. You will work to maximize safe production and packaging of products and raw materials, operating a baler and related equipment.

Responsibilities include safe operation of mobile equipment, loading/unloading materials, completing shipping paperwork when needed, and upholding QA standards. Previous forklift experience is preferred; physical work and routine lifting are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, or stoop.
• Previous mobile equipment or forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates baler in a safe and efficient manner producing packaged materials for customers.
• Operates mobile equipment (front end loader, skid steers, fork lifts, etc.) in loading, hauling, and unloading materials.
• May complete paperwork for shipping.
• Performs outside duties as needed (sweeping, debris pickup).
• Maintains and verifies that quality assurance measures are followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, truck drivers, office personnel, and customers.
