Job summary

Pratt Industries in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Baler Operator who will safely operate and maintain the baler, process paper and corrugated scrap, and contribute to continuous improvement.

You will also manage inventory of baling wire and tags, safely operate forklifts when needed, submit maintenance work orders, and uphold high safety and housekeeping standards while supporting our environmental mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in corrugated industry preferred.
• Experience as forklift operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create orderly bales and manage inventory for materials like baling wire and tags.
• Handle the forklift safely when required and proactively manage equipment maintenance needs.
• Submit maintenance work orders to supervisors and embrace additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support our core values by maintaining high safety standards and actively participating in improvement initiatives.
