Pratt Industries is hiring a Forklift/Baler Operator to safely operate the forklift and baler, weigh units, and ensure accurate documentation. You will handle waste pallets, manage bale production, and maintain a clean, organized baler room while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires forklift experience, basic math, and strong communication. Overtime and weekend work may be necessary to meet production needs, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• - HS Diploma or GED is required.
• - At least 1 year forklift experience required.
• - Previous baler operator experience preferred.
• - Safety-conscious with OSHA PPE compliance.
• - Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• - Safely operate forklift to pick up waste pallets and carts.
• - Identify waste tickets and weigh units on scale.
• - Input weights and baler summaries accurately.
• - Load material into baler and replace bale wire as needed.
• - Troubleshoot baler issues promptly.
• - Maintain housekeeping, especially in baler room.
• - Weigh baled material and load onto trailer.
• - Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies.
