Job summary

FXI is seeking a baler operator to support loads of scrap foam and materials in a manufacturing setting in Texas. The role requires operating a baler, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper packing of finished bales with strapping wire.

Responsibilities include keeping the baler area organized per 5S standards, mentoring new employees, and promptly reporting any nonconforming product to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to do simple math calculations and fill out production reports.
• Must have good manual dexterity.
• Must be able to read, understand, and comply with established company and plant policies.
• Must be able to pass the required skills test and training evaluation checklist for the baler position

Responsibilities

• Load scrap foam, skins, and/or fabric into baler and ensure finished bales are properly packed and contained with strapping wire.
• Keep baling machine operational and clean; maintain 5S standards.
• Mentor new employees and communicate with supervisor about nonconforming product.
