Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Baler Operator for the 1st shift (6am-2pm). Starting pay is $19.50 per hour plus shift differential.

This full-time role involves operating Hogger, Baler, and Slitter machinery, performing cleanup, and recommending efficiency improvements. Training and growth opportunities available as the company promotes from within. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read a tape measure, and basic math and reasoning skills.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure with speed/accuracy.
• Basic math including percentages, volume, rate.
• Strong reasoning for standard problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hogger, Baler, and Slitter safely and efficiently.
• Keep neat bale production records and waste data.
• Maintain inventories and perform daily maintenance requests.
• Operate forklift safely and load trailers.
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.
