Job description

Responsibilities
  • Check waste carts and loads for correct waste tag information with signatures.
  • Help keep a clean work environment for safety reasons.
  • Communicate with the Operator on Baler and Shredder performance, while exchanging information to the incoming Operator.
  • Document any movement and perform a checklist of baler and shredder machines prior to start up.
  • Communicate issues or restraints to the Supervisor.
  • Weigh and spray paint all good dunnage for identification and complete documentation needed for accurate accounting.
  • Complete the soak and pin test to get familiar with the quality processes of the corrugator.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Qualified to drive a lift truck.
  • 3‑5 years' experience in the corrugated industry.
  • Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
