Job summary

RWB Thrift is seeking a Baler / Forklift Operator to manage baler and forklift operations, feeding and compacting materials into tight bales. You will secure and label bales for transport and move them using a forklift while following strict safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, organizing donated items, and supporting recycling and waste reduction efforts in a fast-paced thrift store environment. A background in thrift/retail or warehouse is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, or back-of-house settings preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain baler machines and forklifts to process and transport materials.
• Feed materials into the baler hopper and monitor controls for proper compaction.
• Securely tie and label bales before transporting with a forklift.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to store procedures.
