Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Specialist of Baking Technology and Commercialization to support bakeries, coordinate new formulas, and drive product development. You will lead technical projects across operations, R&D, and engineering to ensure finished product quality and safety.

The role requires strong data analysis, root-cause problem solving, and travel 80-90% domestically to support multiple sites and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, or related field.
• Five years of experience in baking process technologies and continuous improvement.
• Experience presenting data analysis to management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot bakery issues and support corrective actions.
• Support trials on new formulas, ingredients, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations to scale up and commercialize new products.
• Address product quality concerns and consumer complaints using statistical tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on process improvements and equipment changes.
