You will develop new recipes, manage daily production, decorate with precision, and ensure a clean, sanitary area; this role requires early mornings and the ability to lift 20 lbs or more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, desserts, and other baked goods.

  • Maintain consistent quality, flavor, texture, appearance, and portion sizes.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes and production requirements.
  • Manage daily baking and pastry production to ensure products are fresh and available on schedule.
  • Decorate and finish pastries and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking area in accordance with food-safety standards.
  • Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate ingredients and supply needs to management.
  • Operate and maintain ovens, mixers, proofers, refrigeration equipment, and other bakery equipment safely.
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Baking & Pastry Chef is responsible for creating and producing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts while maintaining consistent standards of taste, presentation, freshness, and food safety.
