Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking Team Members to provide courteous, friendly service and support on the sales floor. You will weigh, price, and package orders, restock, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment while upholding Whole Foods core values.

This role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a passion for natural foods, with opportunities to engage customers, learn on the floor, and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Weighs, prices, and packages customer orders.
• Understands venue menus and stays abreast of specials.
• Follows cash handling procedures for service venues.
• Monitors product quality and rotation.
• Completes spoilage and transfer records as needed.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through stocking and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Makes the environment clean and sanitary; maintains equipment.
• Opens, mid, and closes duties; checks pricing signs.
• Reports safety hazards promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
