Job summary

ShopRite of Burlington is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager with daily department operations, including pricing, stocking and merchandise rotation. The role supports a clean, visually appealing Bakery area and safe, efficient work practices.

The position requires English literacy, basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong customer-service skills. Training and opportunities to learn merchandising and display are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness in Bakery.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing for the department.
