Job summary

The GIANT Company in Carlisle, PA is seeking team members for production and bakery duties at our retail store locations. Responsibilities include preparing for shifts, assembling and baking goods, labeling and packaging, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas.

Team members will also help manage loss and uphold safety standards. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., read and write proficiently, and complete a 60-day introductory period.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and follow policies.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and be able to use the equipment and tools.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
• Assemble and bake goods, place trays in racks, and operate the oven.
• Package, wrap, label baked goods, and display them properly.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
