Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Wall Township, NJ is seeking a dedicated Bakery Team Member to support the Bakery department with receiving and preparing product, maintaining displays, stocking shelves, and selling product in line with WFM standards. Emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and safety is essential.

You will assist with inventory, sampling, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations while contributing to a positive store image and company values.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, rotating, and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leaders.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full and clean.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and verifies signs and pricing.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
