Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Chicago is seeking a Team Member to support the Bakery team by receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and delivering friendly, efficient service in line with WFM standards.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, sampling support, and maintaining attractive displays. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and uphold health and safety regulations. No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe working/shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs/pricing.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
