Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly Team Member to support the Bakery area by stocking shelves, preparing products, and helping customers with a positive shopping experience. The role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include ensuring fresh displays, assisting with sampling, inventory checks, and maintaining clean, compliant environments per WFM standards.

• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and stocked with front-facing displays and price signs.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps samples appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures and keeps area clean.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
