Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States is hiring for a Bakery Associate to prepare, bake, and display bakery goods while delivering excellent customer service to members. You will follow product handling guidelines, maintain quality and cleanliness, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 18 years of age, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item’s product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment.
• Packages freshly baked goods, including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.
