Job summary

The GIANT Company in Shrewsbury, PA is seeking a store team member for our Retail Store Positions. You will start shifts by reviewing the schedule, preparing the work area, and ensuring PPE compliance while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include assembling and baking goods, labeling and displaying products, cleaning work areas, and tracking loss. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a 60-day probation period, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, and the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place mix on trays, bake goods and manage oven workflow.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label products, and maintain display cases.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
