Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery team member to support daily bakery production, assist customers, and ensure fresh, safe, and high‑quality bakery items.

You will follow production plans, stock shelves, and maintain clean, organized displays in a fast‑paced retail environment. Qualified applicants have bakery or customer service experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment.
• Gathers products to be prepared for the next business day.
• Packages freshly baked goods, including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed.
• Deco­rates special order or case product.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas, equipment, and displays.
