Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery team member to support daily bakery operations, including proofing, baking, packaging, and display. You will assist customers, follow safety and quality standards, and work as part of a fast-paced team in a member-focused club environment.

The role requires 18+ years of age, physical stamina, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Competent with bakery equipment and a commitment to clean, organized displays is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from freezer and displays per production chart.
• Packages baked goods and labels price tickets; ensures accurate pricing.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments; maintains freshness and safety.
• Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces; operates bakery equipment safely.
