Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a store position in Charles Town, WV. The role involves prepping for shifts, assembling ingredients, baking, packaging and labeling baked goods, cleaning work areas, and maintaining display cases.physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for portions of the shift.

Ideal candidates will be authorized to work in the U.S., have valid ID, and be able to follow safety and attendance policies. Prior related experience or training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare with required PPE and supplies.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place on trays, bake goods in oven.
• Package and wrap baked goods, label, display, and refresh cases with fresh goods.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
