Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Wheaton, IL seeks a Bakery Team Member with supervisory responsibilities to support the Bakery Team Leader and ensure smooth department operation. You will manage day-to-day flow, displays, staffing, and training to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising Team Members, conducting training with materials, maintaining clean displays, and upholding safety and SOPs while promoting WFM values and goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
• Works with Bakery Trainer to train Team Members to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using training materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy customers.
• Trains, develops, mentors, and counsels Team Members to minimize turnover.
• Provides performance evaluations and communicates goals.
