Responsibilities include ensuring product freshness, coordinating production for cake decorating, and upholding food safety guidelines. Collaboration with store teams and adherence to company policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment or store leadership recommended.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines relevant to bakery operations.
• Ability to manage time and lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers in the department and helping them locate products.
• Answer questions and make suggestions to customers about bakery items.
• Handle bakery products and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Review production schedules to determine requirements for various baked goods.
• Bake from-scratch products for bakery cases and displays, ensuring freshness and correct labeling.
• Assist in maintaining bakery backroom, cooler and freezer efficiency.
• Manage inventories and order raw materials as needed to meet demand.
• Record special orders accurately and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement and maintain opening/closing standards.
• Receive ingredients and supplies from storage areas for daily operations.
