Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Bakery Production Assistant to support daily production of donuts, muffins, pastries and bagels on site and for local shops. You will follow company policies, food safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen that delivers products to specification.

You will complete daily production sheets, assist in inventory and waste reporting, pack delivery totes, and help keep production areas clean.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
• Must have ServSafe certificate or be scheduled for class within 120 days.
• Maintain image standards set forth and Honey Dew image surveys.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily production sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Complete daily production within the hours scheduled to complete the task.
• Complete all finishing tasks (filling, glazing, frosting, etc.) as set by the schedule.
• Assist in keeping inventory records and report any waste.
• Neatly pack delivery totes by following invoice totals.
• Ensure delivery totals are accurate to the invoices and product arrives in fresh & attractive appearance.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation through all parts of the preparation process.
• Assist in ordering and receiving foodservice products utilizing inventory ordering guidelines.
• Maintain Honey Dew specifications for portions and presentation.
• Assist in implementing all Global & Honey Dew promotional initiatives.
• Clean and stock the kitchen and storage areas as directed by Site manager.
• Other cleaning duties assigned by Site Manager.
