Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Centennial, CO is seeking a team member to support the Bakery department. You will assist with receiving and preparing products, stocking displays, and providing friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

No retail experience is required; hands-on training will cover product knowledge, safety, and store procedures. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about bakery products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh and appealing display by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program and keep areas full and clean.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks.
• _arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow health, safety, and quality procedures; keep areas sanitary.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and any violations promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
