Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking motivated bakers, decorators, and separators in Alhambra, CA. You will produce and decorate high-quality bakery products, follow recipes, and ensure strict quality standards.

The role supports a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth, training, and a strong team culture. Weekend and early-morning shifts are preferred, with part-time or full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food production, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for creating high-quality bakery products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for part time employees, 32 hours per week for full time employees.
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, decorate, assemble bakery products per recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, prepare, and finish products per procedures.
• Decorate cakes with precision maintaining presentation and consistency.
• Package finished bakery products for distribution and sale.
• Monitor product quality throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment.
• Meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory rotation and quality control.
• Cross-train and support other departments as needed.
• Collaborate with store leadership and fellow associates.
• Arrive on time and follow company policies.
