Job summary

ShopRite of Bricktown Bakery is seeking a Baker to assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, including baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging and filling of pastry and bread items. Maintain a clean, visually appealing department and support safety and quality standards.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varied temperatures. Training and opportunities for growth are provided within the ShopRite network.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Must be able to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must work in varying temperatures and handle food products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Sanitize work surfaces, utensils and equipment per standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and proper signage.
• Follow recipes and prepare pastry/bread items per bakery standards.
• Perform duties in compliance with company policies and safety rules.
