Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Bakery Associate in Pittsburg, CA to scale, mix and bake bakery goods for our stores. You will maintain proper inventory levels, ensure cleanliness, and assist customers with orders in a fast-paced, 24/7 bakery environment.

You will operate ovens, mixers, and display products, prepare cakes, and ensure product quality by following safety standards. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a busy retail bakery.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights and holidays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle production materials safely.
• Basic math, recipe reading and inventory/production logging.
• Food handlers certification required by state law.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
• Produce bakery products for retail stores.
• Operate and clean bakery equipment and maintain sanitation.
• Prepare and decorate cakes; handle special orders.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels using FIFO.
