Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a bakery associate to scale, mix, bake and package a variety of bakery items for our stores. You will maintain inventory levels, keep the bakery area clean, and follow safety and sanitation procedures while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working varied shifts within a 24/7 operation to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with a friendly manner.
• Ability to produce bakery items for retail locations.
• capable of operating and cleaning bakery equipment safely.
• Must be able to follow recipes, measurements and packaging procedures.
• Food Handlers Certification required by state law

Responsibilities

• Produce bakery goods for retail stores.
• Operate and clean equipment and maintain a sanitary bakery area.
• Label and package products and manage inventory as assigned.
• Assist customers with inquiries and special orders for cakes and bakery items.
• Open and close bakery per company procedures and maintain FIFO stock rotation.
