WinCo Foods in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking a Bakery Associate to scale, mix and bake a variety of bakery goods while maintaining inventory levels and a clean, orderly department.

You will operate bakery equipment, handle fresh product packaging, take customer orders, and prepare custom cakes, with emphasis on fast, friendly service in a 24/7 operation. Shift options include overnight and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing bakery products for retail environments.
• Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Food Handlers Certification is required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Produce bakery goods for retail stores.
• Operate and clean bakery equipment and maintain a clean, sanitary area.
• Display products and manage FIFO rotation; set up and decorate cakes.
• Take orders from customers and handle special cake orders.
• Open and close bakery following company procedures.
