Job summary

• Two or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of shift production, including checking formulas, assigning work tasks, monitoring procedures and schedules to ensure adherence to standards.
• Reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspects product quality; ensures equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promotes safe working environment through safety policies; enforces rules and conducts periodic safety meetings.
• Trains employees and assists with disciplinary actions as necessary; maintains cleanliness and adherence to company policies.
